Registrations for Annual Ohio All-Expense-Paid Deer Hunting Trip

   Registrations will be accepted from July 1 until August 31st for any current physically challenged PCBA member to submit their name for a random drawing to be held on September 2nd.  The drawing will be for our annual “Fifteen Lucky  Hunters”. These hunters will have the opportunity to hunt at BuckHaven, in Loudonville, Ohio for the 9^th Annual PCBA-Ohio All-Expense Paid Physically Challenged Archery Deer Hunt. 

  PCBA will cover the cost of the out-of-state Ohio license (for one deer only), meals and lodgings for the hunters drawn. Ohio resident hunters drawn will need to provide their own Ohio license. A hunter’s safety card will be needed for new hunters. PCBA will purchase your license online when you arrive in camp. We will need your Social Security and driver’s license numbers to purchase online. (Children drawn will need a hunter’s safety card, ID number and parent’s permission).

   Food will be covered for all attendees and their aids or spouse. The only cost incurred by the “Lucky Fifteen” will be their transportation to and from Ohio and any additional tags for deer. Knox County, allows three deer, but only one buck, with the proper additional tags. The hunt is scheduled for October 8-11, 2008. Hunters will need to arrive in Loudonville on Wednesday, October 8^th  and come out to BuckHaven by 3 PM to site in your bows and purchase licenses.

   The deer hunting is exceptional and provides many possibilities for our hunters to take some record deer. Hunters can use a crossbow which is legal in Ohio. If you use special equipment, such as a locking device, we’ll need to know when you apply so that we can get a waiver for the hunt.

   Families are allowed to attend this hunt but we ask that no children under 14 years of age (unless they are one of the drawn “Lucky Fifteen”) be in camp during the hunt hours of 5AM to 6 PM. Children will be allowed to join their families in camp for the evening meals however. All children in camp will be the responsibility of their parents and not be permitted on any equipment. This is a set policy so our special hunters can enjoy their hunt.

   To enter this drawing, please complete the application at the bottom and mail with a $5.00 processing fee to the PA address.

    The “Lucky Fifteen” and eight alternates who are drawn will received a call from PCBA by September 4^th to allow time to make travel arrangements. If hunter plans to fly in you’ll use Columbus International Airport, Columbus, Ohio. 

Disabled hunters entering can bring along an able-bodied person with them or their spouse, only. This person can hunt if they are listed on your application.
