This yearly scholarship will be for one physically challenged member of PCBA who is experiencing a financial hardship so that they may be able to attend the following year’s PCBA-Wyoming antelope hunt in Gillette (2009). They would be a guaranteed hunter for that year’s event. The scholarship will be for a total of $500. The first check in the amount of $268 made out to Wyoming Game and Fish will be sent to the winner to be included in their application to Wyoming for their antelope license. The remaining balance of $232 will be given to the winner in person at the September antelope hunt and can be used towards the winner’s lodging during the hunt.

This scholarship is for a PCBA physically challenged member only who has wanted to attend this hunt but due to a financial hardship can’t afford to do it.   

Nominations will be accepted from any PCBA member who either is physically challenged themselves with a financial hardship or from an able-bodied member who knows a disabled member who is in financial need. This person will write to the judging staff with the name of the disabled member, his/her financial situation, what his/her disability is and what it would mean for that person (or you, if disabled and financially limited) to receive this scholarship.

All nominations must be submitted by December 1, 2008. A winner will be determined by the Wyoming coordinators by December 15, 2008 and notification to winner will be shortly thereafter. There will be an alternate hunter as well incase the nominated hunter decides he/she wouldn’t be able to attend.
